Trad’Est, Europa Traduction, EuropaTrad, and now Orkera: same principles, expanding business.
Our translation agency in Lyon has been serving businesses since 2002. Our clients have continued to entrust us with larger volumes and more demanding technical content while imposing tighter deadlines. We have streamlined our processes, certified our quality management system and industrialised our translation production. Year after year, we have expanded our areas of expertise and our working languages: today, we translate from and into over 60 languages.
With the onset of AI, our role has changed once again: we no longer just translate your content, we manage your entire multilingual production. Orkera is the name of this business.
From machine translation to AI: what has changed
Machine translation didn’t begin with generative AI. We started using machine translation tools and methods back in 2020, along with the associated controls. This experience is now serving us well.
Generative AI then changed the game. Now, a whole page can be translated in just a few seconds. Volumes are increasing, each tool has its own AI and consistency between languages is slipping away unnoticed. The faster we go, the more we need a robust captain at the helm.
And that’s where we come in. We provide advice upfront, we work with you to determine the right balance between AI and human expertise, we integrate translation into your systems and we monitor quality on a large scale. The Orkera platform brings together these areas of expertise: a client portal for ordering and tracking your projects, an AI translation portal configured for your company, and connectors to your systems tailored to your needs.
